CIA Director Porter Goss

My first post...and I'll make it a political one.

Or maybe it's more of a sad post than anything else. Or a frightening and scary reality. Nah, nevermind, it's just another example of W's incompetency.

George Tenet resigned as CIA director on July 11, 2004, and was replaced by Porter Goss on August 10, 2004. For those who may not know, the 3 letters CIA stand for "Central Intelligence Agency". The key word there is "intelligence". Again, the key word there is intelligence. INTELLIGENCE. INTELLIGENCE!!!

Got it? Ok, so when you hear that somebody named Porter Goss has been nominated by the President of the United States of America to oversee one of the most important agencies in the world (and an INTELLIGENCE agency, remember), you would naturally expect someone who is intelligent, right? After all, W did say about Goss, "He knows the CIA inside and out. He's the right man to lead this important agency at this critical moment in our nation's history."

So who is Porter Goss? I'll tell you who. He's a first class dumbass who President Wanker has signed, sealed, and delivered to protect you and your loved ones from terrorists. And instead of writing his accolades, accomplishments, and abilities down for you, how about I just let Mr. Goss tell you them himself? Yeah, that sounds like a keen idea. In fact, maybe you'd like to see a video!?!?! SURE!! HERE IT IS! So, Mr. Goss, tell us about you and the CIA!!

INTERVIEWER: [Y]ou come from intelligence. This is what you did, this is what you know.
REP. GOSS: Uh, that was, uh, 35 years ago.
INTERVIEWER: Okay.
REP. GOSS: It is true I was in CIA from approximately the late 50's to approximately the early 70's. And it's true I was a case officer, clandestine services office and yes I do understand the core mission of the business. I couldn't get a job with CIA today. I am not qualified. I don't have the language skills. I, you know, my language skills were romance languages and stuff. We're looking for Arabists today. I don't have the cultural background probably. And I certainly don't have the technical skills, uh, as my children remind me every day, "Dad you got to get better on your computer." Uh, so, the things that you need to have, I don't have.-- Rep. People...WAKE UP! President "Moral Values" is bastardizing our beautiful nation and all you do is laugh at how his hollow head bounces like a bobble-head doll? THE NEW CIA DIRECTOR ADMITTED SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE HE WAS EVEN OFFERED THE JOB THAT HE IS "NOT QUALIFIED"!! YET BUSH DOES EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO NOMINATE AND ENDORSE HIM.
